Founded on 28 December 1988 in commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the Battle of Santa Clara led by Che. The Complex is composed of the Square, the Tribune, the Museum, the Memorial and the Mausoleum ¨Frente de las Villas".
The Memorial is the space that keeps in perpetual memory the remains of Comandante Che Guevara and the internationalist fighters of his Guerrilla in Bolivia. The pride of every Santa Clara resident is today his presence, his statue erected in defence of solidarity and world internationalism.
The Complex offers a variety of services such as: video screenings, scientific events, advice to researchers, political and cultural activities or events, art exhibitions, gatherings, lectures and conferences. The Museum-Memorial opens its doors from Tuesday to Sunday with guided visits from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm and the Mausoleum "Frente de las Villas" from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Free visits can be made until 8:00 pm.
